Fundraising Flowers

As some in the community may know, Arden, a long time Lendrum resident, has been generously using her flower arranging hobby to generate donations towards the Hall Redevelopment Fund.

She has been selling flower arrangements at community events (e.g. pottery sales) and donating arrangements to the league as a prize at events.

Her latest endeavour is to approach local businesses with her flowers, both fresh and artificial. D. Kathryn Sandilands of Whitemud Dental Centre had an enthusiastic response to Arden’s project and immediately commissioned her to do a flower makeover of her clinic. Arden made a new artificial arrangement and organized one of our talented ladies from the Lendrum pottery club to make a set of three vases. Once the custom cases are complete, Arden will arrange artificial flowers in the vases and they will be displayed on a shelf in the dental office.

Arden withholds the cost of her supplies and the remainder of the donation is deposited into the Hall Redevelopment Fund. If any community member wishes to have a fresh or artificial floral arrangement made for a special occasion or their place of employment and would like to support the hall redevelopment project at the same time please contact Arden.

We have a lot of talented individuals in our community. Might there be others that could apply their passions into financial support of our Hall Renovation Fund?
