Lendrum Green Shack Returns!

Wondering what to do with your kids when they do finally wake up this summer? Check out the Green Shack.

Children are invited to get active and join City Green Shack Leaders this summer for games, sports, crafts, music, drama and special events! The free drop-in program is designed for children ages six to 12, but children of all ages are welcome. Children under six years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note, this program is not a childcare service.

The 2026 Green Shacks program runs from June 29 to August 21 at the Lendrum Community League Park from 10am-1pm.

And this year, if the air quality turns nasty, the Green Shack will move indoors to the Lendrum Community League Hall.

And it gets even Shackier with a Green Shack Show - July 15 at 11AM

The Edmonton Arts Council is partnering with City of Edmonton Green Shacks to host Green Shack Shows – free arts performances for children at Green Shacks across the city, five days a week in July and August (weather and air quality dependent). Performers include a diverse array of local artists in magic, music, dance, theatre and more.
