The Lendrum Athletic Park has the following available for use:

  • Community Hall available for rental by Lendrum Place Residents
  • Change room with washroom
  • Playground Equipment
  • Gazebo
  • Beach Volleyball - 7 Beach Volleyball Courts. (4 with lighting)
    • including nets and balls
  • Basketball
  • Baseball - 1 Baseball Diamond (Cinder infield with benches)
  • Soccer - soccer training channel, circle and grid areas
    • 1 Full Size Soccer field (Book 1/3, 1/2, or full field) with 24' Permanent Goals
    • 2 Mini Soccer fields with 10' Permanent Goals
    • 2 Movable 12' Kwik Goals
    • 2 Movable 18' Kwik Goals
    • 2 Movable 24' Kwik Goals
  • Track - 275 meter Cinder Track
    • Long Jump & Triple Jump with cinder runways.
  • Paved paths throughout the Lendrum Athletic Park area.

Please be aware that Permanent Goal Areas are closed to practice and casual play.

Note:    By keeping non-game activities away from the Permanent Goal Areas, we will have the best chance of maintaining these fields at their highest possible level.

Volunteer To Help Maintain The Althletic Park & Natural Area

If anyone is available to help out let Harvey know the times and he will line up something for you to do. Harvey can arrange access to tools and equipment.
Even if it’s just an hour or two, it all helps. Volunteers can be individuals, or groups. It's a great team building opportunities while helping to maintain the space at it’s highest possible level.

Lendrum Is Seeking Donations For Park Benches


The next time you visit the Lendrum Park, rest a spell on one of the benches that was purchased through kind donations to the -
Benchmark Program :: City of Edmonton.

The City’s Benchmark Program was established to offer individuals and groups the opportunity to honour friends and loved ones, or to celebrate special events through the refurbishment of an existing park bench, or the installation of a new bench. A bronze plaque will be placed on the bench to serve as a lasting tribute. Opportunities also exist for park tables.

New Park Bench (all styles) $4000 Installation of new bench on parkland with memorial plaque. Includes 10-year maintenance plan.
Existing Bench (aggregate and heritage styles only) $4000 Complete rebuild of an existing bench with the addition of a memorial plaque. Includes 10-year maintenance plan.

For events on any public park, a permit is required if the activities include anything beyond passive use.

Anna Vesala, Lendrum's Community Recreation Coordinator is able to issue any resident or community group a permit for use of public parkland.

Some examples of types of activities that require a permit include:

  • Large group gatherings of 50 or more people
  • A wedding, church service, or church picnic
  • Entertainment such as fireworks, horse‐drawn wagon/sleigh rides, hot air balloons, commercial photography, gaming/raffles, amusement rides, bouncy houses/inflatable play structures, petting zoo, outdoor music/stage, parachute take off/landing
  • Temporary food service
  • Liquor to serve or sell
  • Portable toilets
  • Model aircraft, rockets or other power‐assisted flying models
  • Fire pits and barbecues
  • Burying things on parkland
  • Golfing in the park
  • Putting up temporary signage on parkland
  • Vehicles driving across or parking on parkland
